Signifying new beginnings and shedding of the past, the Ghosts Of The Parting...
Formed in September of 2009, The Ghosts of the Parting are a hard rock band from eastern Pennsylvania. Making up the band is Erik Christ (vocals and piano), Brad Jacob (guitar), Joe Harvey (bass) and Travis Turner (drums). Each member contributes their own unique style that makes up the Ghosts' unique sound. A sound that is varied and often heavy, mellow, dark or atmospheric; but always melodic. Musically, there exists a happy blend of purist-instrumentation coupled with today's technology. Strong focus is on lyrical content, which can be reflective, sarcastic, or at times - mournful. But one thing is certain, you'll always get music that is well written and interesting. You can catch the Ghosts gigging around the PA-NJ area.
